Hello. I live in Dallas, and I design
cities, places, and things.
I also love tacos.
I am an urban designer and planner in Dallas, with a particular focus in mixed-use masterplanning, downtown redevelopment, and strategic planning. My strengths are in analytical and data communication and graphic visualization of complicated planning and design related solutions.
My experience in a variety of professional design positions informs my mindful but flexible approach to my work. As a person educated in two diverse design disciplines, I am driven by how design and planning can positively or negatively affect every detail, from our homes to our cities, of our lives. As an urbanist, I am profoundly interested in better understanding the workings of our cities, and the unique systems that make them so complex and vibrant.
My passion for cities aligns with my passion for maps, both for a visual and illustrative appeal, and also as a geo-spatial and mental-spatial study. I am fascinated by how complex and story-telling they can be. Simply put, maps and data can be beautiful.
Outside of the office, you will often find me creating maps of all kinds, as well as drinking a cold beer and creating and beer illustrations for my partner and his brewery. I am available for freelance design and illustration work and am always interested in a challenge. Please reach out to say hey and connect!
